Wholesale, traditional, handrolled Dragon's Blood from Socotra.
True dragon's blood comes from the Dracaena cinnabari tree endemic to the main Island of Socotra. Its resin is legendary, and has been used for centuries as a highly prized incense, as it is today. Sometimes, harvesters roll the resin into balls for ease of transportation. This is what we have here. This dragon's blood is high quality example of much smaller grains rolled into one, with small bark inclusions that add a spicey quality to the heavy amber fragrance that is so typical to dragon's blood. I burnt too much the first time and definitely didn't like it. Last night I burned only a little. The seller seems very good though and the dispatch was fairly quick. I would of liked a zip lock bag for my incense to keep it fresh but I luckily had one. Thanks. Update: Dragon's Blood is really good as an accentuater mixed with frankensense. Just a couple of small pieces with the frankensense really helps strengthen the frankensense and make it last longer. It also has a lot of esoteric uses like being burned to create a protective space or clear negative energy. I will be ordering more. HideReviewed ProductPosted on
