This myrrh is the most exceptional example of commiphora myrrha resin available on the market. It is rich with natural oils, bittersweet, woody, and complex. When burned, it convey notes of chocolate, balsam, camphor, and even blossom. These rare floral notes mean that this potent resin is an exceptional example of Somalian myrrh and the Commiphora myrrha class, being even more refined than my 'Arabian Myrrh'. Although it is often blended with frankincense, this myrrh is an incredible incense in its own right, conveying a synergistic, thick, luxurious fragrance.

Our 'Fresh Somalian Myrrh' was hand-picked at the first flush in 2025, meaning that this resin is nearly as fresh as it can get on the international market. We pay fair trade to our partners from Puntland, Somalia, who harvest frankincense and myrrh as part of their ancestral economy. At present, we are aiming to seeking sustainability certification in order to provide official recognition for the conservation efforts of our Somalian partners and their community.
