Boswellia papyrifera one of the most common species of frankincense-bearing trees in East and Central Africa. Our 'supergrade' resin is highest quality example of papyrifera, coming in consistently large pieces that pack a beautiful, complex and citrusy punch. When burned, its notes are deeply warming as well as uplifting, offering the crisp lightness of Boswellia sacra over the warmer orange, lemon, and grapefruit base notes.
