OPOPONAX HADI - Commiphora guidottii Resin - Bitter Myrrh from Somalia
Opoponax, also known as bisabol, is often utilised in the manufacture of perfumes. This resin is extremely complex, containing a high variety of notes that range from soft woods to sharp bitters and sweet starches. Commiphora guidottii is the more typical bitter myrrh species endemic to East Africa; but a stunning example of the botanical richness of this part of world. Undoubtedly, this is the highest grade Opoponax Hadi I have found to date.
