NEWLY DISCOVERED FRANKINCENSE - South-Western Pakistan - Unknown Species
This disputed incense resin comes from the coastal regions of the Kharan desert in South-Western Pakistan. The scent is unique, situated somewhere between the sweetness of B. serrata and the deep citrus notes of B. papyrifera. Some may say that this resin represents the product of a regional variant pertaining to B. serrata, known to occur in Pakistan and India. However, this frankincense is clearly different and a must for anyone interested in the variety of resins the Boswellia family produces. I hope that one day this species will be named. For now, get this resin while it lasts!
