These 100% pure powdered shavings of Calocedrus macrolepis have been used to make traditional incenses for generations. When burned, 'incense-cedar' produces strong and spicy notes of cinnamon, black pepper, and woody-green pine. This powder is very fine and can be used sparingly, burned on its own or used as the perfect ingredient for your own incense blends. We source our incense powders from traditional merchants in Vietnam, who teach us a great deal about how their trees are sustainably cultivated for sacred cultural applications as well as highly prized timber.
