'Beyo' Frankincense - High quality Boswellia carterii incense resin
This frankincense is common East Africa and is often utilised in cosmetics and incense for its high essential oil as well as its soothing scent and composition. This batch is fresh, harvested in 2025, is beautiful to the eye and possesses a rich scent profile. It boasts notes of orange, pomegranate and the uplifting boswellic notes of Hojari frankincense. My partners in Somalia harvest frankincense and myrrh traditionally. We pay fair trade prices, and indeed it is definitely worthwhile.
This is the most consistently excellent Somali Beyo I have ever seen. For this reason, I use this resin in my Ethereal Resins retail range.
