BOSWELLIA RIVAE - BEEYO MADOW - Rare Frankincense from Ogaden
This resin is the finest example of its kind. Its notes are similar to those of the Kenyan Dakara frankincense with sharper and a lasting lemon-like fragrance that lifts bittersweet and earthy tones to heights of rejuvenation. Ogden is vast region of Somalian Ethiopia that yields several species of frankincense and myrrh, with may specimens remaining ambiguous and specific to localities. Broadly, Beeyo Madow refers to the dark resins of the Boswellia rivae tree occasionally sold as Boswellia neglecta.
